  • Advance reservations are limited to one per person per day, and may be made up to 7 days in advance.
  • Advance reservations are not required, but are strongly recommended.
  • Immediate-use reservations can be made at the Circulation Desk if rooms are available.

Using the Rooms

  • The safety of your belongings is not guaranteed. Keep valuable materials with you. Items left in rooms will be placed in the lost and found.
  • Be respectful of others
    • Study rooms damper the sound, they are not fully soundproof. Talk quietly, use headphones for music and video conferencing.
    • Leave the room as clean or cleaner than you found it. Pack out your trash.
    • Damage charges will be applied if necessary.
  • To comply with safety and ADA regulations, do not block or cover windows or doors; do not use small appliances, such as warming plates, heaters, coffee makers and similar items.
  • The library may ask any occupant to leave a study room if complaints are received or a patron has stayed beyond their reserved time.
  • Failure to leave a study room when requested by library staff, regardless of reason, may result in loss of the privilege to use study rooms, and/or a referral to the Student Conduct Officer.

Patron Privacy

  • Information about room reservations is confidential. Library staff will not share this information with anyone but the person who made the reservation.

UCC's Study Rooms and Reservations Policies have been based off of those used by The Oregon State University Libraries.
