FAQs

Your password will expire every 120 days. To reset your password, follow these steps:

1. Go to https://reset.umpqua.edu to update your password.

2. Enter the following email address using your student ID: 800xxxxxx@umpqua.edu

  • A 6-digit code will be emailed to your personal email account

3. Use the code to reset your password within 15 minutes.

After you reset your password, you will use the new password to sign in to your Student Account.

If you are having trouble accessing your student account, you are likely logged in with your personal email. If this is the case, open a private window:

  • Google Chrome: Click the vertical ellipses in the upper right portion of the browser and select New Incognito window
  • Microsoft Edge: Click the ellipses in the upper right portion of the browser and select New InPrivate window
  • Mozilla Firefox: Click the vertical bars in the upper right portion of the browser and select New private window

Located in the Sue Shaffer Learning Commons & Library is the student-facing technology help desk. The desk is staffed by a professional Information Technologist. They are available to assist students with a number of technological problems from software-related issues to understanding the single-sign on and email migration.

  • You DO NOT need to make an appointment. Drop-ins are always welcomed
  • If you already created an account through the Tutoring Center, you just need to login and view the Library Tech Help Desk on the Schedule an Appointment tab

  • If you haven't created an account, you will need to create an account, just click the big green button above
  • Once you create an account, you will login and click the desired time slot (you will need to fill out the registration information)
  • You will get a confirmation email once you are finished

The Sue Shaffer Learning Commons and Library is located at 1140 Umpqua College Rd., Roseburg, OR 97470. The primary entrance is located on the side of the building facing away from the parking lot. 

Directions to the Sue Shaffer Learning Commons and Library:

  • Take exit 129 from I-5.
  • If coming from the south, turn right at the stop, and left onto Umpqua College Road.
  • If coming from the north, turn left at the stop sign.
  • Travel East on Umpqua College Road for approximately one mile.
  • The college will be on the left side of the street, the Sue Shaffer Learning Commons and Library is located just after the fountain in front of the Del Blanchard Administration Building.
