The reports below are a compilation of the information taken from the dashboards mentioned on this page as well as other reporting avenues from within the UCC Library.
Kanopy & OverDrive Academic were generously funded for 2-years via a grant from The Whipple Foundation. This dashboard shows usage statistics for both. Note: OverDrive Academic is the name of the over all platform, and Libby is an app that is used to access some OverDrive content (eBooks & eAudiobooks).
Library statistical data is compiled using a number of different reports to properly assess services, collections (physical and digital) and user needs. The dashboards linked below illustrate some of the facets of the story of the UCC Library.
The library uses this data as well as other benchmarks to make informed decisions regarding staffing, hours of operation, collection development, programming, and college and community partnerships.
If you have any questions about the data below please contact the UCC Library via email at library@umpqua.edu
This dashboard is a snapshot of information captured by a number of different systems used at the UCC Library. Door count data comes from a Traf-sys People Counter installed at the library entrance; room and technology reservation information comes from Springshare, a library content management system (CMS); and circulation data comes from SirsiDynix Symphony, an integrated library system (ILS). All data is shared ethically and does not contain any patron-identifying data.
This data is updated on a semi-weekly basis, unless otherwise noted.
The data highlighted on this dashboard shows circulation of physical items at UCC. This includes all materials in the general circulating collection, course reserve materials, tutoring reserves, and other special collections. This does not include any information related to digital circulation.
This dashboard contains information related to Library Instruction Sessions prepared and delivered by the UCC Library at the request of faculty, and delivered to students through multiple modalities, primarily face to face.
