It's been awhile...
We apologize for the delay in updating you on the progress of the remodel...summer seems to be going so very quickly!
The roof, the roof, the roof is...full of nuts.
During the latter half of the month of July the crew was working primarily on the roof, which is looking pretty swanky, - even if we do say so ourselves!
Here's an early morning shot of one of the construction crew members standing atop the roof on August 2nd. Fun fact: they found even MORE acorns in the roof panels shortly before this. Who knew the Umpqua Community College Squirrels were so well stocked up!
Moving on from the roof
After making my way through the Dexter-style landscape I was able to snap a few pics of the Library side of the building. Look at how gorgeous the ceiling is! Sadly, we had to remove the skylights that were above the couches due to leakage issues, but we are hearing positive rumors of pendant style lighting and interesting focus points in their place!
