As you all know by now, the Library is undergoing some much-needed maintenance. We are getting a new roof put on, remodeling the interior, updating some furniture, and relocating services around the building.
We are also saying aloha to some wonderful staff members - Kelly Peter (Library Director) has accepted an amazing opportunity to build an Academic Library FROM THE GOUND UP! Shannon Cambra (Library Assistant) has been kicking butt at working towards her Masters of Library and Information Science, and has accepted a position that will not only afford her the opportunity to spend more time with her children, but will help foster her new-found passion for cataloging!
But don't fret! You will still have some familiar faces around the newly remodeled Library when it reopens for the fall term. Liz Teoli (Research & Instruction Librarian) is only out for this week, she is getting married! She will be back in The Cube next week, and will be helping to train a new staff and new students. Destiny Hunt (Director of Teaching & Learning) has also fully stepped into her new role and her new office in the Library building. She is excited to oversee the remodel, and to help build up the new Hub and the new staff.
